Job Overview – Cybersecurity for Digital Pakistan Project:-

The Government of Pakistan through its Ministry of Information Technology And Telecommunications has recently announced two great positions under the project "Cyber Security for Digital Pakistan, Phase-I.”

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication is hiring for two highly significant positions: Deputy Director Cybersecurity (CERT) and Deputy Director Forensic.. (4-) Skills Needed: Strong analytical ability, leadership skills, technical knowledge of cyber tools and frameworks (like SIEM systems, forensic toolkits, NIST/ISO standards) and the ability to work under emergency situations during cyber incidents.

Key Roles:-

(1-) Deputy Director (CERT):-

The CERT role is connected to defense and coordination. The responsibilities will include:-

(1-) Leading teams in identifying and dealing cyber threats before they come.
(2-) To set up monitoring and giving report to systems for government and national digital platforms.
(3-) Building a connection and coordination with international CERTs and cybersecurity organizations.
(4-) Training junior staff and ensuring Pakistan’s CERT operations meet the standards of international level.
(5-) Creating policies and giving report of incidents to higher authorities.

(2-) Deputy Director (Forensics):-

This role is connected with digital investigations. The Responsibilities will include:

(1-) Monitoring and ensuring proper recovery, preservation and documentation of digital evidence.
(2-) Preparing technical reports and proving yourself as an expert witness when required.
(3-) Developing forensic protocols that matches with international best practices.
(4-) Assisting law enforcement agencies in prosecuting cybercriminals and help in cyber crime matters.
